The Pocono Times is looking for highly motivated and effective sales people willing to work hard to help continue to build our publication. We have strong ties to the community and would like to set the standard for effective, local advertising that will help connect the Pocono’s residents to the wonderful businesses in our area.
We are paying some of the highest commission rates in the industry to sell for us. The position does not currently require being in the office full-time. You can make good money from your home office. We’re looking for self motivated, organized people who are looking to build a solid client list.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Applicant must have excellent communications skills and be a people person.
- Applicant must have the comfort level to make cold calls and solicitations.
- Applicant is expected to generate NEW business opportunities.
- Experience in selling advertising inventory is a huge bonus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Deliver results and meet deadlines.
- Above all else – Must Be Able to Close deals!!!
